Our breeding philosophy at Palmetto is directed toward breeding an outstanding athletic individual while also adding beautiful conformation, allowing for young halter prospects as well. With this philosophy, we have now produced three foal crops by our stallions Sundance Kid V, an established sire of Regional and National winners, and our stallion Always A Jullyen V, a Regional and National winner himself, whose first foals have won titles at Scottsdale and Regionals, and will move forward to Nationals this year. Our third stallion, EVG Gentry, will be expecting his first foals in 2008 and we eagerly await to see his contributions to our program.
Our focus remains to produce a truly "all-around" horse, one of type, classic, correct conformation, soundness, and athletic ability. With this in mind, we also breed to a few outside stallions every year to allow for unique outcrosses that expand the breadth of our program.
